so I found out after having trouble with the DA message center, that DA are quite underhanded and sneaky about their advertising.
the message center would not clear. it would perpetually blink "saving" and never complete. and if you refresh, it's all back.

so what the underhanded ness? well I found out what was stopping it.

I use ADBLOCK plus to get rid of all the pesky ads floating around on websites.

and I found out that if you block any ONE of the ad frames around DA. then the message center will fail to update, if you unblock them all, then it will work like a charm.

DA COULD defend it's self by saying "oh but that was part of building the site, there was no way we can set up the page without that happening" but thats a dead lie. Ads on sites are slapped on AFTER all the hard work, it's in the code, you actully have to write MORE code inorder to tie ads into pages like they have. arg it annoys me so bad.

SO we went back to course today after having, a two week holiday, during the second week of which I spent the majority of time catching up on a particular, Development Plan we were meant to hand in two weeks prior, after getting back the class was told, "those of you late with you development plans, tuff luck." which of us there were quite a few. It's fair I guess but still a real pain in the ass.

secondly, with the 3rd term in swing it's FILM CHALLENGE WEEK YAY!
which means that everyone in the school is split up into groups to make a short animation in 4 days, which includes partial cleanup and color. wooooo. it's actully not as exciting as I make it out to be, ESPECIALLY when I am the one made Director of my group -_- of the THREE final year students in my group >I< had to be chosen. My group is doomed....

ok so like journal entry for the sake of an update aye?
so when I got home from course today I sat down and listen to a song by the band ASP (who is awesome btw) which had been in my head alllllllll day, so anyway.
I plugged my headphones in and was assaulted by crackling and popping and omg it was annoying, and it wasn't doing it the night before... and NOTHING had changed.
so I went about trying to fix that by updating my drivers... turns out that updating your drivers from the device manager just fucks things even more...
my sound started to stream at a low khz creating are horrible muddy sound
Now.. this is very bad because music is my life blood, if i'm not listening to it I'm talking to people. so I was sitting there freaking out (after all i wouldn't be able to listen to that awesome song) fortunately... it turns out there is a vista update for the drivers, that the device manager is too retarded to find by it's self -_-
after installing that, my wonderful lifeblood was no longer tainted and I went back to my pixel art! HUZZAH!
